ACCRA, Ghana (Jan. 16, 2026) (Interstat) — Hearts of Oak and Dreams opened the Ghana Premier League season with a scoreless draw Friday at Accra Sports Stadium.

The match failed to produce goals despite Interstat’s pre-game projection of a 1-1 result and favoring Hearts of Oak with a 76.5% win probability. The defensive affair saw three yellow cards issued in the first 18 minutes to substitutes Abdul Razak Salifu and Yaovi Chris Guede of Dreams, and Hearts of Oak midfielder David Oppong Afrane.

Both teams begin their league campaigns with identical records of 0 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw. The result also mirrored each club’s form across all competitions this season.
