TUBU, Ghana (Interstat) — Dreams opened its Ghana Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over Samartex on Sunday at Tuba Astro Turf. The home side defied a pregame projection of a 1-1 draw from Interstat, which had given Dreams a 68.1% win probability. Midfielder Seidu Suraj broke the deadlock with a goal in the 30th minute, providing the crucial opener. Dreams added a second-half insurance goal to seal the win. With the result, Dreams begins its campaign at 1-0-0, while Samartex starts 0-0-1.
