PAU, France (Interstat) — Littoral Dunkerque opened its Ligue 2 season with a stunning 3-0 road victory over Pau on Friday, defying heavy pregame odds. Substitute Enzo Bardeli led the charge with two goals, scoring in the 5th minute and again in the 67th. Thomas Robinet, also a substitute, added a goal in the 23rd minute at Stade Nouste Camp. Dunkerque defender Ousmane Kanté provided an assist before being sent off with a red card in the 63rd minute after receiving a yellow card earlier. The result was a major upset, as statistical models heavily favored Pau to win the match.
