SEREMBAN, Malaysia (Interstat) — Negeri Sembilan and DPMM FC played to a 2-2 draw in a Malaysia Super League match Sunday at Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

The visiting side from Brunei took an early lead when Takumi Sasaki scored in the 31st minute. Negeri Sembilan’s Christian Irobiso equalized just before halftime in the 49th.

Hakeme Yazid put DPMM FC back ahead in the 61st, but the home side earned a share of the points when Joseph Esso found the net in the 72nd minute. The result mirrored the teams’ previous meeting last November, which also ended 2-2.

Negeri Sembilan’s season record is now 8-9-6, while DPMM FC moves to 4-7-4.
