ANGERS, France (Interstat) — Substitute Florian Thauvin scored a second-half brace to lead Lens to a 2-1 comeback victory over Angers in a French Ligue 1 match Sunday at Stade Raymond Kopa. Thauvin netted in the 45th and 74th minutes, overturning a one-goal deficit after Angers’ Harouna Djibrin scored in the 76th. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat that heavily favored Lens, which improved its record to 1-0. Angers fell to 0-1.
