LONDON (Interstat) — Watford and Bristol City played to a 1-1 draw Friday in an English Championship match at Vicarage Road Stadium. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored the home side. Defender Marc Bola opened the scoring for Bristol City in the sixth minute. Watford substitute Scott Twine leveled the match in the 29th minute, assisted by fellow substitute Anis Mehmeti. The draw leaves both teams with identical records to start their league campaigns.
