Chongq Tongliang vs Suzhou Dongwu

CHONGQING, China (Interstat) — League-leader Chongqing Tongliang hosts a struggling Suzhou Dongwu side in a China League One match on Saturday, with the hosts heavily favored to continue their push for promotion.

Chongqing Tongliang (24-9-9) sits atop the table and is coming off a scoreless draw with Shijiazhuang Kungfu. Despite that result, the team has been formidable, having lost only once in its last five matches. Its overall record across all competitions is 26-13-9.

Suzhou Dongwu (12-16-13) enters the contest 14th in the 16-team league, fresh from a 2-0 victory over Shenzhen FC. That win snapped a three-match winless streak, but the team’s form has been inconsistent for much of the season. Its record in all competitions is 13-18-13.

The head-to-head history strongly favors the hosts. In their two meetings this season, both on June 28, Chongqing Tongliang secured 3-1 victories in each fixture.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the projected final score is a 2-1 win for Chongqing Tongliang.

Following this match, Chongqing Tongliang will travel to face Shanghai Jiading on Nov. 8, while Suzhou Dongwu will host Dingnan Ganlian FC the same day.
