Nantong Zhiyun vs Yanbian Longding
NANTONG, China (Interstat) — A pivotal China League One clash with promotion implications is set for Saturday as Nantong Zhiyun hosts Yanbian Longding.
Yanbian Longding (19-8-10) enters the match sitting higher in the table than Nantong Zhiyun (17-11-11) and brings a wave of momentum. The visiting side is coming off a 2-0 victory over Guangxi Pingguo and has won four of its last five league matches.
The visitors also hold a psychological edge from the most recent head-to-head, a 1-0 home win over Nantong on June 29.
Nantong Zhiyun looks to rebound at home after a 1-0 road loss to Liaoning Tieren FC last Sunday snapped a two-game winning streak. Prior to that defeat, Nantong’s attack was in formidable shape, including a 7-1 rout of Qingdao Hongshi FC and a 3-0 win over Guangxi Pingguo.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, the contest is projected to end in a 1-1 draw. The result would see Yanbian Longding maintain its position above Nantong in the tightly contested standings.
Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Nantong’s home stadium.
