Seoul E-Land vs Ansan Greeners
SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — Seoul E-Land and Ansan Greeners will meet Sunday in a K League 2 fixture at Seoul World Cup Stadium, with recent history suggesting another tightly contested match.
The two sides have played to draws in both of their meetings this season, a 1-1 result in May and a 2-2 stalemate in July. A third consecutive draw is the projection from Interstat’s game simulator, which forecasts a 1-1 final score.
The clubs enter the match on divergent runs of form. Seoul E-Land (8-10-12) is unbeaten in its last four contests, including a decisive 2-0 victory over Chungbuk Cheongju FC on Nov. 9. The home side’s attack has been potent during this stretch, scoring nine goals in those four matches.
Conversely, Ansan Greeners (5-12-13) is seeking its first win since early October. The Greeners are on a six-match winless streak, managing only three draws in that span. Their most recent result was a 1-1 draw with Suwon Bluewings on Nov. 9, but they have been held scoreless in three of their last five outings.
Seoul E-Land will look to capitalize on its home pitch and current momentum to break the deadlock against its familiar foe. Ansan, meanwhile, will aim to tighten its defense and find a way to secure three critical points on the road.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time.
