BUCHEON, South Korea (Interstat) — Bucheon 1995 opened its K League 2 season with a 2-0 victory over Ansan Greeners on Saturday at Bucheon Stadium. Defender Hong Sungwook opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, and midfielder Sung Shin doubled the lead in the 51st minute. Both second-half goals were assisted by substitutes Park Chaejun and Kim Geonoh, respectively. The win defied a pregame projection from Interstat that forecast a 1-1 draw, though its system heavily favored Bucheon. The home side improved to 1-0-0 in the league, while Ansan fell to 0-1-0.
