SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — Jung Seungyong scored in the 50th minute to lift Seongnam to a 1-0 victory over Hwaseong in K League 2 play on Saturday at Seongnam Tancheon Sports Complex. The decisive goal, assisted by Cho Dongjae, was the game’s only score and gave Seongnam a measure of revenge after a 1-0 loss in the previous head-to-head meeting in June. The match was a physical affair, with five yellow cards issued by the officiating crew. With the win, Seongnam improved its season record to 16 wins, 10 losses and 17 draws. Hwaseong fell to 9-14-13.
