Osaka vs Kochi Utd SC
OSAKA, Japan (Interstat) — Osaka will look to maintain its momentum against a struggling Kochi Utd SC side when the J3 League clubs meet Monday.
The home side enters the match following a 1-1 road draw against Matsumoto Yamaga on Nov. 16. That result extended Osaka’s unbeaten run to five matches, a stretch that includes four victories. Their form has been bolstered by a potent attack, scoring multiple goals in three of those contests.
Conversely, Kochi Utd SC is mired in a significant scoring slump. The club is winless in its last six league outings and has failed to score in five of them, including a 0-0 home draw with Vanraure Hachinohe in its most recent match on Nov. 15. During this difficult run, Kochi has been shut out in losses to Sagamihara, Azul Claro Numazu and Matsumoto Yamaga.
The recent head-to-head record favors Osaka, which earned a 2-1 victory in Kochi on March 2.
Despite the contrasting form, the Interstat game simulator projects a tightly contested 1-1 draw.
Following this match, Osaka will travel to face Gifu on Nov. 29, while Kochi Utd SC will host Thespa Gunma the same day.
