SAMARINDA, Indonesia (March 15, 2026) (Interstat) — Borneo and Persibara played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in their Liga 1 opener at Stadion Segiri.

Persibara’s Adam Alis opened the scoring in the 14th minute. The home side equalized later in the match. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored a Borneo victory.

The physical contest featured six yellow cards, including five in a contentious 10-minute span of the first half. Kakang Rudianto, Andrew Jung, Frans Putros, Caxambu Westherley and Beckham Putra were all cautioned.

Both clubs begin the Indonesian top-flight season with identical records of zero wins, zero losses and one draw across all competitions.
