Agouado to host ASC Armire in Régional 1 clash

CAYENNE, French Guiana (Interstat) — Agouado will look to build on a dominant recent result against ASC Armire when the teams meet Saturday, May 30, in a Régional 1 fixture.

Agouado defeated Armire 3-0 on Nov. 22, 2025, in their most recent head-to-head meeting. The home side enters the match on the strength of a 4-1 victory at Loyola on May 9. Agouado’s season has been marked by inconsistency, however. They lost to Le Geldar 1-0 on April 18 and fell 3-1 to Matoury on April 11. Prior to the win over Loyola, Agouado rallied for a 3-2 victory at Cosma on March 20 and posted a 4-1 home win against Sinnamary on Feb. 14.

ASC Armire arrives after a 1-1 draw with ASC Karib on May 13. That result extended a mixed run of form. Armire drew 1-1 at Grand Santi on May 10 and recorded a 1-0 home win over Olymp de Cayenne on May 6. Before that, Armire lost 2-0 at Matoury on April 11 and fell 2-1 at Loyola on March 18.

A simulation by Interstat projects a 1-1 draw. The prediction suggests a tightly contested match, with both teams capable of scoring but also prone to defensive lapses. Agouado’s 3-0 victory in the previous meeting underscores their ability to control the matchup, but Armire’s recent draws indicate resilience.

Both sides are jockeying for position in the league. Agouado’s upcoming schedule includes a trip to ASC Karib on June 6, followed by a home match against Grand Santi on June 10. Armire will host Remire on June 6 and visit d’Or de Mana on June 10.
