SINT-LENAARTS, Belgium (Interstat) — KFC Sint-Lenaarts and visiting KFC Zwarte Leeuw played to a 0-0 draw in a Belgian Division 3 match Saturday at A-Complex KFC Sint-Lenaarts.

The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored Sint-Lenaarts. The match was a defensive struggle with few clear chances, marked by three yellow cards issued in quick succession late in the first half. Aïmane Aissa, Jonas Van Den Muysenbergh and Marouane Laacheri were all cautioned between the 40th and 49th minutes.

The draw leaves Sint-Lenaarts with a season record of 11 wins, nine losses and nine draws in the competition. Zwarte Leeuw’s record moves to five wins, 17 losses and seven draws. The teams also played to a scoreless draw in their previous meeting last November. Sint-Lenaarts next plays at KFC Turnhout on April 26, while Zwarte Leeuw hosts KVC Lille United the same day.
