NEEPELT, Belgium (Interstat) — Substitute Owen Mossel scored in the 87th minute to deliver a 1-0 victory for KFC Zwarte Leeuw over Esperanza Pelt in a Belgian Division 3 match on Saturday.

The decisive goal at Gemeentelijk Stadion De Roosen came against the run of statistical projections, which heavily favored the visitors. The match was a contentious, stop-start affair featuring seven yellow cards. Zwarte Leeuw’s Andreas Drieskens received a second yellow, resulting in a red card in the 69th minute, forcing his side to play a man down for the final stretch.

Despite the disadvantage, Zwarte Leeuw found the winner late. Mossel finished a play assisted by Mathias Vos to secure three points for the visitors, completing a season sweep over Esperanza Pelt. Both clubs remain near the bottom of the division table with identical records of six wins, 17 losses and six draws in league play this season.
