MONTPELLIER, France (Interstat) — Montpellier U19 hosts Olympique Ales-en-Cevennes on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in a National 3 matchup at a venue to be determined. Kickoff time has not been announced.

Olympique Ales-en-Cevennes enters the contest on a three-match unbeaten run. The team last played April 25, a 2-0 loss to Olympique Lyonnais. Before that, Ales defeated ES Fosseenne 4-2 on April 18 and ASPTT Dijon 2-0 on April 11. The squad has shown offensive firepower, scoring eight goals against Carnoux Football on March 28 and four against Riviera FC on Feb. 21. Ales has also posted two shutouts in the last five matches.

Montpellier U19 is coming off a 3-3 draw with Monaco U19 on May 3. The result snapped a two-game losing streak. Montpellier lost to Marseille U19 2-0 on April 25 and 4-1 on April 19. The team has won three of its last five, including a 1-0 victory over ES Fosseenne on April 11 and a 1-0 shutout of ESC Rocheville on April 4. However, Montpellier has struggled defensively at times, allowing three or more goals in three of the last six contests.
