LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Interstat) — Defender Ella Hase scored the game’s only goal in the 48th minute Sunday, leading Racing Louisville to a 1-0 win over Bay FC in a National Women’s Soccer League match at Lynn Family Stadium.

The decisive header from Hase, assisted by Arin Wright, secured the three points for the home side. The victory gave Racing Louisville a winning start to its NWSL campaign, while Bay FC began its season with a defeat. The result defied the pregame projection from Interstat, which had simulated a 1-1 draw. Goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer recorded a clean sheet for Louisville in a physical contest that featured six yellow cards.
