LEIPZIG, Germany (Interstat) — Germany delivered a commanding performance Monday, overwhelming Slovakia U19 6-0 in a global football match organized by the WC at Red Bull Arena. The hosts scored five times in the first half, with Nick Woltemade opening the scoring in the 18th minute. Leroy Sané led the attack with two goals, while Serge Gnabry, Ridle Baku and Assan Ouedraogo each added one. Defender Malick Thiaw recorded an assist. Germany remained undefeated in the competition, improving to 4-0, while Slovakia U19 fell to an even 1-1 record. The result far exceeded pre-game projections that had favored Germany but predicted a much closer contest.
