BLANKENBERGE, Belgium (Interstat) — KSC Blankenberge and Eendracht Elene-Grotenberge played to a 0-0 draw in a Belgian Division 3 match Sunday at Sport Vlaanderen Blankenberge.

The result defied pregame projections that favored the home side. Neither team could break through in a contest marked more by cautions than chances. Four players received yellow cards, with Eendracht Elene-Grotenberge’s Niels Bataille booked in the 12th minute.

The tie leaves Eendracht Elene-Grotenberge with a season record of 22 wins, 19 losses and 17 draws in the competition. KSC Blankenberge now stands at 9 wins, 12 losses and 13 draws. The teams also drew 1-1 in their previous meeting Feb. 1.
