APPELTERRE, Belgium (Interstat) — KFC Voorde-Appelterre and KWSC Lauwe played to a 0-0 draw in a Belgian Division 3 match Sunday at Molenveld.

The result extended Voorde-Appelterre’s strong season record to 17 wins, six losses and four draws in the competition. Lauwe’s record moved to 10 wins, 11 losses and eight draws.

The match defied pregame projections from Interstat, whose ELO system gave the home side a 78.9 percent probability to win. Its simulator had predicted a 1-1 final.

The teams also played to a scoreless draw in their previous meeting last September. Voorde-Appelterre next plays at KFC Wambeek Ternat on April 26, while Lauwe hosts KSV Rumbeke the same day.
