SINT-DENIJS-WESTREM, Belgium (Interstat) — KVV Sint-Denijs Sport salvaged a 1-1 draw with OLSA Brakel in a Belgian Division 3 match Sunday on a stoppage-time goal from Nana Newman.

Theo Somers had put the visiting side ahead in the 73rd minute at Terrein Kleinkouterken, positioning Brakel for an away victory. Newman’s equalizer in the 90th minute ensured the hosts a share of the points. Brakel’s Lucas Van De Velde received a yellow card on the play.

The result leaves Sint-Denijs Sport with a stronger season record in the league, though both sides remain in the middle of the table. The draw defied pre-match projections that heavily favored a home victory.
