OVERIJSE, Belgium (Interstat) — Tempo Overijse MT and visiting KFC Wambeek Ternat played to a 1-1 draw in a Belgian Division 3 match Saturday at Begijnhofstadion.

Substitute Mathias Molemans opened the scoring for the visitors in the 23rd minute. Tempo Overijse MT forward Timothée Mba equalized just before halftime in the 44th minute. The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the hosts.

Tempo Overijse MT, a dominant side this season, was held by a mid-table Wambeek Ternat squad. The draw extends Tempo Overijse MT’s strong campaign, while Wambeek Ternat secured a road point against the division leaders. The teams also drew in their previous meeting last November.
