HAASDONK, Belgium (Interstat) — Yannick Braem scored in the 78th minute to deliver Herleving Red Star Haasdonk a 1-0 victory over K. Achel VV in a Belgian Division 3 match on Saturday.

The defender’s decisive strike, assisted by Denis Jabot, secured a rare win for the home side at Terrein Herleving Red Star Haasdonk. The result defied a pregame projection that favored the visitors.

The match was physical, with three yellow cards issued in the second half, including two in the 84th minute. The win did little to alter the clubs’ difficult league campaigns, but it provided Haasdonk a measure of revenge after a 3-1 loss in the prior meeting last October.
