BAKU, Azerbaijan (Jan. 21, 2026) (Interstat) — Qarabag defeated Eintracht Frankfurt II 3-2 in a Champions League group stage match Wednesday at Tofiq Bəhramov Stadium.

Forward Camilo Marques led the home side with two goals and an assist, opening the scoring in the fourth minute. Eintracht Frankfurt II substitute Can Uzun equalized in the 10th minute, but Marques struck again in the 80th to restore Qarabag’s lead. Defender Bəhlul Mustafazadə sealed the victory with a goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Eintracht’s other goal came from substitute Fares Chaïbi.

The result gave Qarabag a winning start to its European campaign, defying a pre-match projection that heavily favored the Azerbaijani club. Three substitutes were shown yellow cards in the match’s latter stages.
