TORHOUT, Belgium (Interstat) — Substitute Livio Cicero scored three goals to lead Jong KV Mechelen to a 5-1 road victory over KM Torhout in a Belgian Division 2 match Sunday at Complex De Velodroom.

Cicero scored in the 14th, 27th and 68th minutes as the visitors erupted for five unanswered goals. Xander Van Der Velde opened the scoring in the 13th minute, with Ebe Tanghe and Xavi Everaert also finding the net. Marvin Dewaele, Gibbe Conaert and Tibo Van De Velde each recorded an assist.

The result avenged a 1-0 home loss to Torhout from November. Torhout’s Jitse De Witte received a red card in the 71st minute. The lopsided score defied pregame projections that heavily favored the home side.
