Cheltenham Town vs Bristol Rovers

GLOUCESTER, England (Interstat) — Cheltenham Town will host Bristol Rovers in a League Two match on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Whaddon Road, with the home side looking to capitalize on a visiting squad mired in a deep slump.

Bristol Rovers (5-8-0) enters the contest reeling, having lost five consecutive matches across all competitions. Their most recent result, a 3-1 defeat to ASC Oțelul Galați on Nov. 15, extended a troubling run of form where they have been outscored 16-2. The Rovers’ defense has been a primary concern, conceding four or more goals in three of those five losses.

Conversely, Cheltenham Town (5-7-1) has shown more resilience despite a 3-2 loss to Tranmere Rovers in their last outing. Prior to that, the Robins had secured three wins in their previous four league matches, including clean sheet victories over Walsall and Newport County. Their form at home has been mixed, however, with a 7-1 loss to Grimsby Town on Sept. 27 highlighting their potential vulnerability.

Statistical projections for the match present a conflicting outlook. The Interstat game simulator predicts a 1-1 draw. However, the same service’s ELO rating system gives Cheltenham Town a 73.70 percent probability of winning outright.

The match will be the first of a crucial 10-game stretch for both clubs as they navigate the heart of the League Two season. Bristol Rovers will look to stop the bleeding on the road before a return home to face Notts County on Nov. 29. Cheltenham Town will travel to face Colchester United on the same date.
