DEURNE, Belgium (Interstat) — Sportief Rotselaar delivered a surprising 1-0 victory over Young Reds in a Belgian Division 2 match at Bosuilstadion on Saturday.

The result defied statistical projections that heavily favored the home side. The lone goal, scored in the second half, was assisted by defender Luca Schelfhout, who was later shown a yellow card.

The match was marred by discipline issues, including seven yellow cards. Sportief Rotselaar played the final 25 minutes a man down after Robin Hambrouck received a red card in the 65th minute. Despite the disadvantage, the visiting team held on for a clean sheet.
