SUWON, South Korea (Interstat) — A stark contrast in form will be on display Saturday when the Suwon Bluewings host Chungbuk Cheongju FC in a K League 2 match.

The Bluewings (25-10-12), firmly in the promotion hunt, are heavy favorites against a Cheongju side (6-18-10) mired near the bottom of the table. The statistical service Interstat projects a 2-0 victory for the home side.

Suwon enters the match following a 2-2 draw with Jeonnam Dragons on Oct. 25. Their potent attack was on full display in recent weeks, including a 5-0 rout of Cheonan City and a 3-2 victory over Hwaseong.

Chungbuk Cheongju, meanwhile, is mired in a deep scoring slump. The team is winless in its last 10 matches across all competitions and has failed to score a goal in its last five outings, managing only a 0-0 draw with Bucheon 1995 in its most recent fixture.

The head-to-head history this season favors Suwon. The Bluewings earned a 1-0 home victory over Cheongju on July 12, following a 3-3 draw in May.

The match is scheduled for Nov. 1 at Suwon World Cup Stadium. Suwon’s next match is Nov. 9 at Ansan Greeners, while Chungbuk Cheongju hosts Seoul E-Land the same day.
