Rouen vs FC Versailles 78 2

ROUEN, France (Interstat) — Rouen will host FC Versailles 78 2 on Saturday, May 9, in a National 1 match that pits two teams trending in opposite directions. The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.

The teams have met three times this season. Versailles won the most recent encounter 2-2 at Rouen on March 6. Rouen swept the previous two meetings: 3-1 at Versailles on Jan. 16 and 2-1 at Versailles on Sept. 26, 2025.

Versailles enters the match winless in its last three outings, all on the road. The visitors played to a scoreless draw against Orleans U19 on May 1, lost 3-1 at AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers on April 25 and fell 2-1 at Le Puy Foot on April 24. That stretch followed a 2-1 loss at FCM Aubervilliers on April 18 and a 4-0 victory at La Berrichonne de Châteauroux on April 17. Over their last 12 matches, Versailles has shown inconsistency: five wins, six losses and one draw.

Rouen, meanwhile, has not lost in four matches. The club played to a scoreless draw on May 2, then defeated Lorient U19 3-0 and Aubagne 3-1 on April 24. Rouen also posted a 0-0 draw against Le Puy Foot and a 0-0 draw against Concarneau on April 17. The team’s last defeat was a 2-1 loss at VF Beaujolais on April 3.

Defensively, Rouen has been stout. They have allowed more than two goals only once in their last 10 matches, when they beat Berrich Chateauroux 5-3 on April 10. Versailles, by contrast, has conceded three goals in three of its last four road games.

Saturday’s match is the regular-season finale for both clubs. After this fixture, Versailles will host Stade Briochin on May 15. Rouen will face Fleury 91 and Paris 13 Atletico on May 15, with a trip to Stade Briochin U19 also scheduled for Saturday.
