ROUEN, France (Interstat) — Clément Bassin scored one goal and set up another Friday as Rouen defeated Aubagne 3-1 in a National 1 match at Stade Robert Diochon in Le Petit-Quevilly.

Enzo Mayilla also contributed a goal and an assist for Rouen, and Antonin Cartillier added a goal. Amadou Ba-Sy scored the lone goal for Aubagne.

Mayilla opened the scoring in the 18th minute, beating the Aubagne goalkeeper after a buildup through midfield. Bassin doubled the lead in the 28th minute with a finish from close range. Cartillier made it 3-0 in the 42nd minute, heading in a corner kick.

Aubagne pulled one back in the 58th minute through Ba-Sy, who converted a rebound after a free kick. But Rouen held firm defensively to preserve the two-goal advantage.

The match featured three yellow cards. Mayilla was booked in the third minute, Aubagne’s Alassane Diaby in the 17th minute and Bassin in the 25th minute.

Rouen improved its National 1 record to 21 wins, 16 losses and 14 draws. In all competitions, Rouen is also 21-16-14.

Aubagne fell to 9 wins, 12 losses and 10 draws in National 1 play. Across all competitions, Aubagne is also 9-12-10.

The result extended Rouen’s recent dominance in the head-to-head series. Rouen won the previous meeting Feb. 20, 1-0 at Aubagne, and the teams drew 1-1 on Dec. 5, 2025.

Aubagne entered Friday on a three-match winless streak in all competitions. The visitors lost 2-0 to Orleans U19 on April 17, beat Le Puy Foot 2-1 on April 10 and drew 1-1 with La Berrichonne de Châteauroux on April 3.

Rouen came in with mixed results. The hosts drew 0-0 with Concarneau on April 17, drew 0-0 with Le Puy Foot on April 17 and beat Berrich Chateauroux 5-3 on April 10.
