INDIANAPOLIS (Interstat) — Cleveland State defeated IU Indy 2-1 in an NCAA men’s soccer match on Friday. The Vikings improved their record to 4-2-4, while the Jaguars fell to 3-4-2.

Defender Noah Kummrow scored the lone goal for the Jaguars, finding the net in the 90th minute. Midfielders Bali Esquivel and Youri Keijser each recorded an assist on the play in a losing effort for the home side. An intimate crowd of 191 attended the Halloween match at IU Indy. The result defied pregame projections that heavily favored the Jaguars to win.
