ATLANTA (Interstat) — Georgia State and UCF played to a 1-1 draw in an NCAA men’s soccer match Sunday. The Panthers’ Pavel Romero-Garmendia scored in the 90th minute to secure the tie for the home side at a sparsely attended match with 250 spectators. The result defied a pregame projection that gave Georgia State a nearly 60 percent chance to win. UCF, the Knights, moves to 4-2-2 overall, while Georgia State is now 2-3-3.
