HOUSTON (Interstat) — Tess Kelder and Kamara Bradley each scored a goal to lead the Texas Southern Lady Tigers to a 2-0 victory over the Alcorn State Lady Braves in an NCAA women’s soccer match Sunday.

Defender Melissa Knutson provided an assist for the Lady Tigers. The home win improves Texas Southern’s record to 3-6-6, while Alcorn State falls to 3-4-4. The game, played before an announced attendance of 70, defied a statistical projection that had favored Alcorn State to win by a large margin.
