CINCINNATI (Interstat) — Rylee Felton scored the game’s only goal to lift the Cincinnati Bearcats to a 1-0 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowgirls in an NCAA women’s soccer match Thursday.

The Bearcats (3-5-4) earned the win at home despite being held to a single score. Felton’s goal was assisted by Karson Yon and Bryana Gaynor. The Cowgirls (2-9-2) were shut out for the seventh time this season.

An announced crowd of 163 watched as Cincinnati defied a Interstat game simulator that had projected a 1-1 draw. The Bearcats’ defense held firm to secure the result.
