PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Montana Lady Griz defeated the Portland State Vikings 1-0 in an NCAA women’s soccer match on Thursday. The result, played before an announced attendance of 320, improved Montana’s season record to 7-3-3. Portland State falls to 2-5-3. The lone goal was enough for the Lady Griz to secure the road victory, defying a pregame statistical model that had slightly favored the home team.
