SANGOLQUI, Ecuador (Interstat) — FK Amkal and Zorkiy played to a 0-0 draw through extra time in a Russian Cup of Cups match Wednesday at Estadio Banco Guayaquil.

The match, contested on neutral ground, defied pregame projections from Interstat, which gave Amkal a 56.7% win probability and forecast a 2-1 scoreline. The stalemate was marked by disciplined defending and a flurry of yellow cards, with seven issued throughout the contest.

The result leaves Amkal at 3-2-1 in the Cup competition, while Zorkiy moves to 1-0-1. Neither side could break through despite the efforts of key contributors including defenders Luis Felipe Zárate and Richard Schunke, who were among seven players credited with an assist in the defensive battle.
