RATCHABURI, Thailand (Interstat) — Ratchaburi and Samut Songkhram played to a 1-1 draw in a THA League Cup match Sunday at Dragon Solar Park.

Samut Songkhram took a surprise lead in the 30th minute through an own goal by Ratchaburi defender Jun-Hyung Park. The home side equalized eight minutes later when midfielder Anon Amornlertsak found the net. Neither team could produce a winner in the second half.

The result leaves Ratchaburi with a win and a draw in the cup competition this season, while Samut Songkhram remains winless. Three yellow cards were issued in stoppage time. The draw defied a pre-match projection that heavily favored Ratchaburi to win.
