SAO LUIS, Brazil (Interstat) — IAPE hosts Moto Club on Wednesday in a Week 4 matchup of the Brazilian Maranhense championship at Estádio Municipal Nhozinho Santos.

Both sides enter the 2025 state league contest on the heels of narrow 1-0 victories. IAPE defeated Maranhão on May 8, while Moto Club earned a road win at Imperatriz on April 24. The results have positioned each team favorably early in the tournament schedule.

The match pits IAPE’s home-field advantage against a Moto Club side that has proven capable of securing results away from home. According to Interstat’s game simulator, the closely contested form points to a draw, with a projected final score of IAPE 1, Moto Club MA 1.

Wednesday’s fixture will be a key test for both clubs as they seek momentum in the Maranhense, the top football competition in Brazil’s Maranhão state. Kickoff is set for Wednesday, Dec. 3, in São Luís.
