KRIVOY ROG, Ukraine (March 7, 2026) (Interstat) — Visiting Minai delivered a decisive 4-1 victory over Kryvbas in a Ukrainian Premier League match Saturday at Stadion Shakhty Zhovtneva, defying pregame projections.

Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 3-3 draw, and its ELO system gave Kryvbas a 93% probability to win. Instead, Minai’s attack proved overwhelming.

Kryvbas took an early lead with goals from Andrii Ponedelnik in the 38th minute and Denys Kuzyk in the 42nd. Substitute Oleh Kozhushko added a third in the 66th minute. Ponedelnik also received a yellow card in the 77th minute.

The result leaves both teams with identical 1-1-1 records in league play this season. Kryvbas (3-1-1 overall) faces Metalist 1925 Kharkiv on Sunday. Minai (1-1-1 overall) next plays Veres Rivne on March 15.
