VARBERG, Sweden (Interstat) -- Robin Tranberg scored in the 55th minute to earn Varberg a 1-1 draw with Skovde AIK on Wednesday night in Week 11 of the Superettan at Varberg Energi Arena. Skovde AIK struck first when Hugo Engström scored in the fourth minute. Mamudo Moro doubled the visitors’ lead in the 43rd minute, but Varberg answered quickly. Yusuf Abdulazeez pulled one back in the 49th minute before Tranberg equalized to cap a four-goal flurry over a 12-minute span. Tranberg, a 6-foot midfielder, and Abdulazeez each scored for Varberg, while Moro and Engström found the net for Skovde AIK. The draw left Varberg with a 0-1-2 league record and 3-3-2 across all competitions. Skovde AIK moved to 0-0-1 in both the league and overall. Yellow cards were issued to Marc Tokich of Varberg in the 15th minute and Armend Suljev of Skovde AIK in the 16th, with Filip Drinic of Skovde AIK booked in the 82nd. Moro and Engström each scored their first goals of the season for Skovde AIK. The result was Varberg’s second draw in three league matches.
