Motor Lublin vs Resovia Rzeszów

LUBLIN, Poland (Interstat) — Conflicting projections surround Tuesday’s Club Friendlies exhibition between Motor Lublin and Resovia Rzeszow.

Interstat’s ELO system gives Motor Lublin a 79.60 percent probability of victory. However, the same company’s game simulator projects a 1-0 win for the visiting Resovia.

The match is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Motor Lublin’s home stadium. It comes just two days after Motor Lublin fell 2-0 at Widzew Lodz on Sunday, April 26.

Motor Lublin enters with a mixed recent record. The club has gone 3-3-3 in its last nine matches across all competitions dating to Feb. 7. Highlights include a 2-1 win over Piast Gliwice on Feb. 20 and a 2-0 shutout of Korona Kielce on Feb. 28. Low points include a 4-1 loss to Jagiellonia Bialystok on Feb. 7 and consecutive draws against Rakow Czestochowa (1-1 on April 12) and Radomiak Radom (1-1 on April 6).

Resovia Rzeszow’s most recent result came much earlier. The team defeated OKS Swit Skolwin 2-1 on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025. No further match data was available for Resovia, leaving the club’s current form largely unknown.

The teams meet in a friendly organized by Club Friendlies, a global exhibition series. Such matches often serve as tune-ups for regular-season competition.

Following Tuesday’s game, Resovia is scheduled to play Podbrezova on Wednesday, April 29, also in Club Friendlies. Motor Lublin’s schedule intensifies with a league match against Lech Poznan on Saturday, May 2. Additional upcoming league opponents include Wisla Plock (May 10), Cracovia (May 16) and Legia Warsaw (May 23).

Motor Lublin has shown resilience at home, including a 1-0 win over Zaglebie Lubin on March 20. But the club also dropped a 3-2 decision to Lechia Gdansk on Feb. 15.

The conflicting projections add intrigue to an otherwise informal friendly. The ELO system, which accounts for historical performance and opponent strength, heavily favors the home side. The simulator’s 1-0 prediction for Resovia suggests a tight, defensive contest.

Kickoff is expected Tuesday evening.
