VARBERG, Sweden (Interstat) — Edi Sylisufaj scored in the 20th minute for Orgryte and Diego Nicolas Montiel answered for Varberg in the 26th minute as the teams played to a 1-1 draw on Monday at Varberg Energi Arena in a Superettan match.

Sylisufaj, an attacker, entered in the fourth minute and played 86 minutes before being substituted. Montiel, a midfielder, came off the bench in the 26th minute and immediately scored. The result left Orgryte with a 1-0-1 record in league play and overall. Varberg moved to 0-1-1 in the Superettan and 3-3-1 across all competitions. Varberg entered the game following a 5-2 victory over Tvååker on April 23.

Yellow cards were issued to Charlie Rikard Vindehall of Orgryte in the 36th minute, and to Varberg’s Óskar Tor Sverrisson in the 73rd and Joakim Lindner in the 89th. The draw gave both teams their first stalemate of the Superettan season. Orgryte remained unbeaten in its last two league matches, while Varberg ended a two-game winning streak in all competitions.
