SYDNEY (Interstat) — Bankstown Berries and Rydalmere Lions played to a 0-0 draw Friday in an AUS: New South Wales NPL 2 match at Jensen Park. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which gave the Berries a 58.3% chance to win and simulated a 2-2 scoreline.

The defensive stalemate left both teams unbeaten through Week 3 of the competition. Bankstown Berries’ season record in the league is now one win and one draw, while Rydalmere Lions sit with one loss and one draw.

The match’s few notable chances were overshadowed by second-half yellow cards shown to Rydalmere’s Eris Abedini in the 49th minute and Bankstown’s Luca Jaquenoud in the 55th.
