THOHOYANDOU, South Africa (Interstat) — A clash of early-season opposites is set for Tuesday when the struggling TTM hosts the upstart Plat City Rovers in a South African RSA 1st Division fixture at Thohoyandou Stadium.

The match, a Week 18 contest, pits a TTM side seeking its first league win against a Rovers squad looking to build on a perfect start. TTM enters the contest 0-1 in the 1st Division and 1-1 across all competitions. Their most recent outing was a 2-1 victory over NB La Masia on Oct. 11, a result that may provide a spark after a league-opening loss.

Conversely, Plat City Rovers boast a 1-0 record in both the league and all competitions. Their last match, however, was a 2-0 defeat to Magesi on Oct. 11, a result that halted their early momentum.

Statistical projections point to a tight contest. The Interstat game simulator forecasts a 1-1 draw. Yet, its ELO rating system gives TTM a significant 62.40 percent probability of securing a victory on home turf.

The encounter will be a test of TTM’s ability to translate cup form into league success and a chance for Plat City Rovers to rebound from their first loss. Kickoff is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025.
