PUEBLA, Mexico (Interstat) — Einheit Bernau defeated Ludwigsfelde 2-0 after extra time Wednesday in a Reg. Cup Brandenburg match unusually staged at Estadio Cuauhtémoc.

Forward Gabriel Fernández opened the scoring in the eighth minute, followed by a 28th-minute goal from midfielder José Paradela. The match, part of the German regional competition, saw five yellow cards issued.

The result gave Einheit Bernau its first win in the tournament this season, while Ludwigsfelde began its campaign with a loss. The game was played in Puebla, Mexico, a significant departure from the clubs’ typical venues in Brandenburg, Germany.
