Köln vs Wolfsburg

COLOGNE, Germany (Interstat) — VfL Wolfsburg will look to continue its recent dominance over FC Köln when the women’s sides meet Sunday in a DFB-Pokal match at Sportpark Höhenberg.

The fixture is a rematch of their Bundesliga encounter just over two months prior, on Sept. 21, when Wolfsburg earned a 2-1 away victory. Defender Camilla Küver and midfielder Lineth Beerensteyn scored for Wolfsburg in that match.

Wolfsburg enters the cup tie in strong form, having won three of its last four competitive matches across all competitions, including a 3-1 league victory over Carl Zeiss Jena on Sept. 14. Its only recent defeat was a 4-2 result against powerhouse Bayern Munich.

Köln, meanwhile, is seeking its first win since late August. The team is coming off a 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen on Nov. 23 and has managed just one victory in its last five outings, a stretch that includes three losses.

Historical data heavily favors the visitors. In the teams’ last three meetings, Wolfsburg is unbeaten, including a decisive 5-1 win in September 2024. The only blemish was a 0-0 draw in February 2025.

According to Interstat, Wolfsburg is the overwhelming favorite with a 98.10 percent probability to win. The organization’s game simulator projects a final score of Wolfsburg 2, Köln 1.

Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
