KIRKBURTON, West Yorkshire (Interstat) — Huddersfield Town U18 will seek its first victory of the ENG Youth Alliance season on Friday when it hosts Burton Albion U18 at the Storthes Hall Training Complex.

The matchup pits a winless Huddersfield side (0-1-1) against a Burton Albion squad (1-0-1) that has yet to lose in league play. Both teams have identical records across all competitions, with Huddersfield at 0-1-1 and Burton Albion at 1-0-1.

Burton Albion arrives following a 1-1 draw with Mansfield Town U18 on Oct. 18. Huddersfield has not played a competitive match since a 1-0 home loss to Harrogate Town U18 on Sept. 22, a layoff of over a month.

Statistical projections for the contest are split. The Interstat game simulator predicts a 2-1 victory for the home side, Huddersfield. However, the same outlet’s ELO rating system gives Burton Albion a 56.60 percent probability of winning.

Following this fixture, Burton Albion U18’s next scheduled league game is at home against Rotherham U18 on Nov. 9.
