KIEV, Ukraine (March 4, 2026) (Interstat) — Maksym Imerekov scored a stoppage-time equalizer for Metalist 1925 in a 1-1 draw with Dnipro-1 in a Ukrainian Premier League match Wednesday at Stadion Livyi Bereh.

Dnipro-1 took the lead in the 19th minute when midfielder Oleksii Hutsulyak finished an assist from Eduard Sarapyi. Sarapyi later received a yellow card in the 53rd minute.

Metalist 1925 pressed for a leveler and found it deep into added time. Defender Imerekov, listed at 6-foot-2, powered in a header in the 93rd minute to salvage a point for the home side. The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored a Dnipro-1 victory.

The draw leaves Dnipro-1 with one win and one draw in league play this season, while Metalist 1925 has opened its campaign with two consecutive draws.
