ROMA (Interstat) — AS Roma defeated Torino 2-0 in a Serie A match Friday at Stadio Olimpico, with a stoppage-time goal sealing the victory.

Torino’s Karol Linetty opened the scoring in the 55th minute, assisted by Wilfried Singo. Roma equalized deep into added time when substitute Nemanja Matić scored in the 94th minute, assisted by Stefano Fiore. The result came despite a pregame projection favoring Roma heavily.

The match, part of Serie A’s Week 15, saw three yellow cards issued. The win improves Roma’s league record, while Torino’s slides further.
